Riverdance 20th Anniversary

It began life as an interval act at the Eurovision Song Contest and grew into one of the most popular performances in the world. Two decades on, Riverdance is still going strong and celebrates its 20th anniversary with a series of special shows at The Gaiety Theatre.
July 2nd 2014 - Dublin Duathlon
Papal Cross, Phoenix Park, Dublin
A test of endurance and stamina fit for both beginners and seasoned amateur athletes alike, the Dublin Duathlon is a running and cycling event taking place in the gorgeous surroundings of Phoenix Park. With a special start time for beginners and a great atmosphere, the event makes an ideal event for fitness fans.

3rd – 6th July 2014 – Deeds of Deceit
This brand new play from Matthew Ralli tells the story of one of Ireland’s most infamous unsolved mysteries, the theft of the Irish Crown Jewels from Dublin Castle in 1907. According to this gripping tale, over 100 years have past with no explination. Will the culprit finally be brought to light, or is this one mystery better left unsolved? The only way to find out is to get a ticket!

July 5th 2014 - Clontarf Half Marathon, 5 Mile and Junior Race
Clontarf, Dublin City, Dublin

11th – 13th July 2014 - Laya Healthcare’s City Spectacular
Merrion Square, Dublin

18th – 20th July 2014 - Longitude Festival
Marlay Park, Marlay Park, Rathfarnham, County Dublin
One of Ireland’s most popular music festivals is back for another year, and this time it’s even bigger. With art installations, stalls, entertainment and more spread out across the lush hills of Marlay Park, Longitude’s main attraction is of course the plethora of cutting edge artists gracing its stage. Bombay Bicycle Club, Massive Attack and Sam Smith are just some of the big names lined up for this year’s festival.

26th – 27th July 2014 - Dublin City Soul Festival
Merrion Square Park, Dublin
Celebrating the very best in live soul music, this two day event in the stunning Merrion Park is free to attend, though organisers do ask for a €5 donation in support of the Musical Youth Foundation, a charity helping young people in Ireland access musical education. Last year, over 30,000 descended on Merrion Park to sample some great music and a wonderful atmosphere, and the 2014 event looks set to be just as enjoyable.
