Terracotta Warriors Exhibition
Daily until October 5th, 2014

The Ambassador Theatre, Dublin

This world-renowned exhibition, featuring 150 perfectly-crafted replicas of The Terracota Army of the First Emporer of China takes up residency at Dublin’s Ambassador Theatre this summer.

Before he died in 210 BC, emporer Qin Shihuangdi ordered the creation of a spectacular tomb to be built where he could rest after his death. Within that tomb, a full, life-sized army of terracota warriors, horses and weapons were hidden, not to be discovered until 1974.

15 years later, this was declared as a World Cultural Herritage by UNESCO, and though the originals are being well-presered elsewhere, you can take in the next best thing with this exact replica.
